After much research I had a few hesitations about ordering these as they are the same hardware it appears as the VS238H which as a lot of reviews here and on new egg.So to address the complaints I saw in 1% of the reviews. First complaint I saw was the stands. I can see how the stands could leave a little to be desired but these things are so light and thin a more substantial base would look out of place. I personally wouldn't let this take away from the monitor. Since I am not using the included stands that is where I will leave this. The second issue I had seen people complain about was the uneven back light. If you look for it in darker modes under motion you can see it a little. Still nothing I would choose not to buy it over, and maybe they refined it in the VS238H-P from the VS238H. In addition, the colors out of the box were absolutely terrible. I had to spend about 2 hours between nVidia settings and my monitor settings to get it even close to acceptable. Despite the backlight bleed, it's a nice-looking display when you get the settings right. Returned, upgraded to the VS248H-P (ordered from Newegg.com...Amazon currently only has that model available from third party retailers and I had a bad experience when I bought my TV through such). I'd highly recommend shelling out the extra 20 dollars as the colors were perfect right out of the box. I only had to dim the brightness and up the contrast and I was good to go. AMD's Eyefinity looks great in games, and when you're not gaming, there's TONS of desktop space to spread things out! There's better monitors out there, but these are a great option for the price!
